Some PCM files with extensible WAV headers fail the stock parser’s format check.
Our modification
The integrated parser recognizes the supported PCM subformat inside an extensible WAV header, then returns to native channel-count, sample-rate and bit-depth checks.

Support is limited to compatible PCM. Sustained playback and broad file compatibility still require hardware and audio validation.
